Who is Forgeling

Forgeling is an independent artist creating hand-finished resin sculptures inspired by a sensitivity to life, the people we love, and the connections that shape us.

Objects that hold a story

Each piece transforms personal stories into collectible objects that invite reflection, preserve memory, and celebrate what it means to be human.

Some of those stories are the studio’s own — the Sensitivity Series began with a note written at two in the morning: what if in a world of technological abundance, we need fewer things that mean more?

How a piece is made

  • Model. Sculpted digitally in Blender, posed and revised until the silhouette reads right.
  • Print. Printed in resin, layer by layer, then washed and cured before the supports come away.
  • Finish. Supports sanded back, assembled dry, painted by hand and sealed matte.

Every cast is demoulded by hand and wet-sanded through four grits before a brush touches it. The last coat is a matte archival finish that resists fingerprints and UV.

Made for you

Commissions start with what you send: photographs, character sheets, a description of the one thing they are never seen without.

The studio sculpts from that and sends you a greyscale render to approve before anything is cast, so nothing is painted until the likeness is right. Most commissions take between one and two weeks.
